Lightening Strike Sends Man to Hospital
WRIGHT, Wyoming (SmallTownPapers) -- On Wednesday, June 30 at 7:40 p.m. the police department received a 911 emergency call for EMS assistance to Highway 387 near mile-marker 147 north of the highway toward a rig site. Andrew Rebul, of Devon Energy, was lying underneath his truck, working on it during a violent storm, when the truck was struck by lightning. He managed to call 911 and he had complained to the EMT that his legs and calves were hurting. Mr. Rebul was conscious and able to walk and talk when the ambulance had arrived.
